Perth Women's Ice Hockey League

The Perth Women’s Ice Hockey League (PWIHL) was established in 2018 with six teams and 66 players.

Since then, the league has continued to grow, with 113 players participating in 2026. The PWIHL is an affiliated league of IHWA, with all players holding IHWA membership and insurance coverage.

The PWIHL season runs over the summer months, usually from October through to February with games hosted at both Cockburn Ice Arena and Perth Ice Arena.

The league is committed to developing and growing women’s ice hockey in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment. The PWIHL format involves players of all levels, creating a unique development opportunity for beginners to learn from experienced female players.

Anyone interested in playing in the PWIHL is encouraged to join the private Facebook group (PWIHL Women's Summer League) and keep an eye out in August for information about the upcoming season.
